Meysam Qadrdan is a professor of Energy Networks and Systems, and Co-founder and Management Board Member of Cardiff University’s Net Zero Innovation Institute. Specialising in the operational and expansion planning of integrated energy systems, his research is supported by major UK and international funders through independent fellowships and large multidisciplinary research consortia. He leads initiatives that bridge fundamental academic research and industry-led innovation, addressing real-world challenges in the transition to clean, secure, and affordable energy systems, and supporting evidence-based decision-making at the interface of engineering, economics, and policy.
