Dr Talal Fateh has been working in fire science since 2008. He holds an MSc (2007) and a PhD in Combustion Engineering (2011) from the University of Poitiers.
He is currently General Manager of Efectis, a leading European company in fire testing, fire safety engineering, and explosion safety, with approximately 350 employees.
He is a fire safety and risk assessment expert involved in laboratory development, teaching, standardisation, regulation, and the modelling of fire behaviour in materials. He is also the author of several scientific publications in the field of fire safety.
